Veterinary physiotherapist

Physiotherapy is a science based profession specalising in the prevention and treatment of musculoskelatal conditions and diseases affecting movement and function. Physiotherapists use a variety of treatments which can be broadly grouped into physical or 'hands-on' techniques, electotherapies, and exercise prescription.

You currently need to be a qualified human physiotherapist before you are able to undertake training as a veterinary physiotherapist.
